Feathered Friends I have come to love the birdlife here in South Luangwa as much as the animals. Here are a few photographs taken with my F2.8 70-200mm zoom lens. Golden Weaver having a bath Twin Spot, very shy but gorgeous polka dot chest and belly, with a raspberry pink head Heuglin’s Robin, the best mimic in the woods. He can copy any call, and seems to enjoy adding extra bits of melody to make it his own. Yellow bellied sunbird, male White-browed sparrow weavers. They make grass tunnels for easy getaways when predators are threatening. Prolific birds in the Park. Share this:TwitterFacebookMoreWhatsAppLinkedInEmailTumblrLike this:Like Loading...
