Thursday Doors

I am gradually posting the remainder of my collection of Delhi Door Photographs before I end my mission here in June. Let us begin with a pinkie.

Even though the door looks a wreck, it is still worth keeping secure with a couple of padlocks and a length of chain.

Even if the guard appears to have dozed off.

Some pointy doors, with a dog-tooth design.

More doors, draped with electrical wires and a string of ornaments.

Finishing up with a purple beauty.

  1. The door with the wiring hanging down has caught my eye. It’s such a battered old door with a big chunk missing out of the bottom, yet it still contains a bolt and lock.
