Color Your World – Royal Purple

The first picture shows boys bathed in purple light on stage, representing Holi, the Hindu festival of colours.

The second picture shows the entrance to a temple in Old Delhi, Shahjahanabad, India.

  1. That second photo is magical and mysterious, and yet that benign watching-us dog and the street litter roots it in the mundane. What an amazing place India is. I think I’d suffer from sensory overload and blow all my gaskets.

  2. I’m really glad to hear that Ellen. I have taken almost 7,500 photos since I arrived in August. It is a fascinating country. I am very lucky to have the privilege of working here.
